The workshop brings together experts from the field of statistics, epidemiology, medicine and cancer registration with the aim of developing a research collaboration network among LMU Munich, Technical University Munich, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, Bayerisches Krebsregister am Bayerisches Landesamt für Gesundheit und Lebensmittelsicherheit in the field of Cancer Epidemiology. The general scope is to explore the potential of spatio-temporal data-analysis methods and their usage in cancer epidemiology. Research groups present their research field in short, applied talks.
